No Rabbit racers out there can tell me how they put a test port on there car? I've heard a lot of ideas but not from anyone who has done it. Please help!

I need advice on how to set up a legal fuel test port. We may run some SCCA events this year so I guess we need one. Any hints?

Our A-1 ITB Rabbit has a large front bar. Most other racers said they don't have one. Why? Most of the time we were the fastest A-1 and finished well for a rookie driver and crew. Can we go faster without the bar? Any help would be appreciated. ------------------
