...the 911SC (thru 1983) or carrera's (thru 1989) in IT in the forseeable future? I know they only recently classified the earlier 911s/t's...was there alot of opposition to these cars? If so...how did they get classified? The few I've seen are seriously outgunned by the 325's and 2nd gen...

I know it's not IT, but there is a regional only class being run in the SE and maybey MW for "street" prepared C4 corvettes. I think they let them run at the AARC last year. Anybody know who is heading this up and if they have rules published anywhere?

Any of you transformed a cherished longtime automotive possession into a full time race car? Case in point...say you have a relatively nice sports car that you've owned for several years. You've maintained it faithfully, rebuilt things as they've worn out, upgraded performance accssories, etc...
