Is there a difference between 1988 / 89 Civic front upper control arms and 1990 / 91 arms? I've been told the 1990 / 91 arms have the ball joint seperate from the arm.

I have a 1989 Civic Hatch that I road race. Need to get to 3 degrees front negative camber. I have not found any manufactured adjusters that will allow for this much. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can safely get this much camber? Thanks.
