One of the most basis principals of the rule book is “if it does not say you can you cannot.” I do know of any place in the rules where it says you can create a misalignment of any body panel to channel more air.
Unless, of course, You drive into the honda/nissan/VW bumper in front of you. Thereby removing the obstruction and allowing air to enter thru the newly created hole.
