Newberry's Old ride 3rd at Sebring

Mike Covello and Squeak Kennedy drove the ex Chris Newberry 240 sx to a 3rd in class (ITS) at Sebring, this Saturday. Mike drove the first stint moving up about 8 overall positions, then Squeak took over cutting some of the fastest laps of the race. His best lap of 2.36.4 was the second fastest of the race to Irish Mike's
BMW. This was possibly the fastest lap ever by a ITS NIssan on the long course.
 
Well I'm glad to see ya'll blew the dust off of the ol gal.....Good results, great job. Did Randy (the current owner, Randy Effron) get to drive also? Chris
 
Randy was not feeling well before the enduro, and had Squeak take his place. Randy did race the sprint races, but had to start in the back, as he did not qualify the car. He improved his lap times by some 4 seconds and moved from the back to about mid pack.
