Rockingham?

I just looked at the 2008 schedule and i see a race at the Rockingham raceway in June, is that possible?

thats on the SEDiv schedule, but it's not on the NCR schedule. No one seems to know anything about it. Not to mention, I believe the new ownerships is doing/planing some renovations to the facilities.

my reason for asking is that i would really like to make that race this year, i missed last year. i run in the ITB class.

Last I heard, the intent of NCR was to run a regional race/PDX there during the summer "lull" in the race season. I hope it happens as well, I had a lot of fun running there last March.

Ran there last march also, cool little track. One thing i found that was kinda neat about the place is that almost all the tin tops running turn very similar lap times. Perhaps only a 5-6 second spread
for everyone. Which is very unlike other tracks.

Would for sure go back if the schedule fits

Me, too

I "ran" there last March, if you want to count it as such. I enjoyed the track as well and would happily return. However, I believe that I checked the latest updates on the SEDiv Racing site and it showed that this event had been cancelled. Somebody might want to check behind me.

And the garages/ restrooms were very nice as well. Nascar cast-off's felt pretty good compared to our usual.
