The X bar

This time I have looked at GCR and I can't find it, I have nascar bars in my car, and the top bar sets to high for ease of access into and out of the car so I decided to put and X bar into the drivers side, i know there are tubing requirements and such but i can not find any build dimensions about this I.E. center of X must be 6 inches from sill area of door, is there something I am missing or is it pretty much wide open.
 
Thank You, No the Roof bar that runs along the top sill is staying right where it is, it's the bar at the top of the door thats the problem and the bonus is all i have to remove is one bar to accomplish this.
 
Just be sure that you replace your gutted door panel when you get rid of the nascar bars :D

Maybe shoot some pics of your setup and we can make some suggestions
 
But if the X bar is configured properly, it fulfills the NASCAR requirement. Gutting should be fine.
