A2 dentless strut housings for A3

I'm trying to track down some A2 strut housings to run Koni inserts on the new A3 car. From what I have been told I need to track down the housings that don't have the factory "dent" so the new inserts can slide in. I'm having trouble locating these, anyone know the specific year they came like that?

I just tripped over some.... there empty...176 413 031G... hows 50.00 plus shipping? I exept plastic(but not americanexpress).....would do trades for A1 stuff!!!
