Daytona ECR

Evan - Jim - Chris...finally got my PCA racing out of the way...now I can get back to the real world of driving...Trying to get Andy Fox to come but he's too busy playing Farmer John with his new racing Kubota....
I'm not getting there till Sunday morning so I'lll be starting from the back.....don't wait up .....I'll find my way...........
Mark

Both GBRacing cars will be there; SM 23 and ITA 24. Let's just hope the new ITA Civic has less issues this time.

I also know that Nick "the flying Hawaiian" will be there in the with the black ITA integra.

Can't wait to see everyone!

You can add the car in your avatar to that list Richy.
I have no idea how we'll do, mostly we're just hoping to finally make it to a checkered flag

I thought Andy was more of a John Deere kinda guy..."...being GREEN isn't easy." See ya there. :D

Scott, I was about to PM you to see if you were coming. Hopefully, the car will be much improved from the last time you saw it. At least the exhaust should be in one piece. Getting there on Friday, probably am to mid day. Looking forward to bench racing about the past several months. Sorry, our cook won't be there. Don't think they allow that stuff at Daytona, any way. I suppose the concession stands would have to shut down. lol

The #62 Sentra SE-R will be there. It is still up in the air if I will have a 2nd driver or flying solo. Don't know if I will have any pit help either. I also don't know if my suspension will be in or not, it might arrive at my house Thursday????? But I will still be there to race damnit!!!!!! It should be fun out there!

Mark it will be great to have you back!! Starting at Daytona from the rear can be fun!! Russell, I should have a few crew guys there hopefully so look me up at the track...Chris, third time is the charm! I have never run the 4.79 gear at Daytona so I will be curious to see how the top end is there.

Cool, looks like a stout ITA field.

Look for the silver #85 ITA CRX Chris. We'll be in a garage but I have no idea which one.
Can you have "The Cook" freeze something in a ziplock and bring it over for us? ;)

Sorry Scott, The cook is involved in reconstucting his son's house...something I got roped into instead of working on the race car. Anyhow, no time to cook, even something thrown together. He peaks at the ARRC, and has to rest most of the year.
We'll be in the dirt/swamp. Looks like I may be making the trip by myself. I'll be looking for help for the enduro. Rebstock was coming to do the super tune, but got his weekends messed up. The tune will be done in advance and notes made.
Evan, the plan is simple...have fun. That's always the plan. Of course, it's more fun to win, so that's in the plan, too. If it runs like it has been, it should be interesting. Hope I can hang on! B)

Man, I hope the racing Gods are looking down on me. I've spent last week in Colorado Springs. I had to fly again this week to Colorado Springs but I'm returning home on Thursday night (12 am) so i can race over the weekend and then I fly back out for another 2 weeks that following Monday at 9:30 am. Which means I have to be at the airport by 7:30 am. I just hope that I don't make the wife and kids too angry, that the car's "teething" is over and that my job doesn't get too mad at me for missing a day :eclipsee_steering:

Yes I will be there in the GSR. Just found out yeasterday that I have to go to an all day training class on Friday in Tampa....nice.....so I will be there late Fri or early Sat.

Scott S.

Dave L. will be driving as well and I am just there to co-drive with him in his car and try to help him through his first race weekend.

Weather report looks great! :023:

Since I will be starting the Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists #58 Honda CRX and David will be finishing, I will offer my services in relief should someone need help. No sense getting hurt trying to be a hero. I'm not talking about winning the race for anyone (as if....) just doing some mop up work. Russell, Nick Tenn, Richy, or anyone that needs a hand, let me know.

Junktech will soldier on to the podium, I'm confident! ;)

Put the rain tires away, boys, and let's go racing!!! :eclipsee_steering:

Evan, thanks for the offer. It looks like I have a crew person lined up now, but if I need more help, I will find you. I hope to find you on track too, and we can draft past that miata!

Thanks for the offer, Chris. My wife does not want me doing the whole race by myself, she is not that crazy about the racing as it is. I don't think it will be a problem, but if my co-driver can't come, and I have problems, I may be looking for you!

I understand. Look for David or myself out in the area by the T4 tunnel entrance. We won't be in the garages. If you want to hook up and put our pit stalls near each other, that would make it even easier.

Plus, we always seem to have enough guys hanging around to help in the pits, so that might help you out as well.
