headlight removal

I'm building a 944 for ITS. I thought I read something in the GCR about being able to remove headlight actuating mechanisms for pop-up heaadlights. I can't seem to find it now. What, exactly, can I remove of my headlights?

Andy is correct, in IT we cannot remove the headlights or any mechanics. 'Pop-up' assemblies can be removed under GT and PC rules.
