Hillclimb your IT car!

I was bummed to miss the Blue Ridge this year. It's a great event.

I only wish that they'd find a way to make it exactly twice as long as it is. The NW hillclimbs were all right at 2 miles, plus or minus a bit, and the additional distance made them more of a mental exercise. The BRHC is not what one would call difficult to memorize.

The town and people are great and the regulars are really nice people to hang out with. I recommend it.

Pretty cool.

Ain't no Chimney Rock though. :D

Lots of great memories from that place. It is for sale and word is that the state is buying. We will do our best to race there again if that happens!!

I had a rough week at work and wasn't able to reply, but I just wanted to say WAY COOL!!!! I miss the days of the Mt Washington Hillclimb. My dad ran that hillclimb for years in a SSB Mitsubishi, a ITE Mustang, a AS Mustang, and one of the first WRX's to ever come into the country. He also ran my ITB Audi the first year we built the cars, then after that Stephen and I raced them!!! It was a blast!!! Certainly is the most fun I have ever had in a race car (despite "the accident" on the final year) and most challenging. Someday I will get up to speed and post video's (but that wont be anytime soon, sorry).

Anyway if you have never done a hillclimb, go do it... it is a blast!!!
