How much $ for a 240Z?

Looking for a little guidance here. I've been offered a trade for my IT car (VW which I've been trying to sell for some time) for a 240Z which someone has been autocrossing. I believe the car is still street legal (no cage). How much could one get for an average street 1972 240Z? Thanks.
 
Price depends alot on how much rust the car has. If it rust free, a 72 240z in "decent" condition should go for $2500 - $3500. It also depends on mileage, and what parts have been replaced or rebuilt over the years. Driving the car will tell you a lot about the condition and road worthiness. Check out prices on E-bay. There is always a number of 240z for sale on this site. Good luck....
