RECARO Bottom Cushion

I have a SPG Racer with the thick (55mm) seat pad. Headroom is an issue for me and I'd be interested to see if there is anyone out there with a recent model SPG or SPA who has the thing (25mm) seat cushion and might be interested in a trade. If the seat of your RECARO is essentially flat, then you have the one I'm looking for - a long shot but the $100 it costs for a new one is a great motivator...

I had the same issue a few seats ago, although it was a much cheaper seat....... I pulled some of the foam out of the seat and it gave me the clearance I needed. My scrawny butt never new the difference!!
 
Headroom is really an issue for me, I'm 6'-04", so I just removed the pad. I don't know if that would work on your seat or not, but it's worth considering.

I'm usually so uncomfortable from the cabin heat in my Z that I don't notice the hard seat.
