Used 12a?

It seems like the wrecking yards are really cleaned out of "little smokies" in my neck of the woods (used 12a's). Too many rebuilders buying every core in search of servicable housings to make into cheap (and short lived) rebuilds. Anyone got a good source for used engines? I would prefer one on the West Coast for shipping purposes - but wherever one might be available if not. Need at least a running spare!

Good luck. Given that they haven't been produced since 1985, its rare to find anything but a 150K smoker these days. Have you tried any of the scrapyard parts locators? I think auto-part.com is one and the rats at ADP-Hollander operate one.
