Just wondering who will be at RR for the February Driver's school. Hopefully some of you guys will be there instructing us noobs. :happy204:

Also, any recommendation on hotels/motels in the area? My wife's idea of camping out is having to stay in a Holiday Inn.

Quite a few (including a Holiday Inn Express!) in Pooler near the 8th Air Force museum. Best Western, Jameson, etc. All about $90/night.

I may be there instructing and tending to a 260Z ITS car for a friend. We'll see.

Can be cold and wet down there that time of year. Makes for nippy secret meetings.

If you can get into the Bradbury Suites, you're golden. That is a GREAT hotel near the track. Whatever you do, don't stay at the Comfort Inn. It's a hole.

The Jamison is a good deal and is short walking distance to Cracker Barrel.

If there's anyone looking for a rental ride for this event, have them get in touch with me. We have a "maybe" but the Golf is his back-up, back-up plan so it's nothing like secure.

Best western or Jamison best two places to stay since Cracker Barrel is right on front of them. Bring rain
tires and a heater for the trailer. And like someone said avoid the Comfort Inn at all costs.

Can't wait too see this year who wins driving school.

Well I'll be there doing my phase 2 school. Can't wait I had a BLAST at phase1 at Daytona.

where abouts are you in cfr??

We've met. I work for David Boles. My car is the one that set the new ITC lap record at the Sebring Long course with Jeff Grove behind the wheel.
